Public sculpture for High Peak Community Arts’ Project eARTh
Poole’s Cavern, Buxton Sept’14 – Mar’15
Project eARTh is a five year project for people experiencing mental distress and other long term conditions, funded by the Reaching Communities programme of the BIG Lottery Fund. Project eARTh holds weekly creative arts sessions, led by experienced artists and supported by mental health workers and volunteers. In this part of the project participants will contribute towards their built and natural environment by carving several large wooden sculptures that will be permanently sited at Poole’s Cavern visitor centre.
